Ann Liu-Shucksmith is an accredited public relations professional in NZ with over ten years’ experience in journalism and communications sectors. She has worked with a list of high profile clients ranging from New Zealand-based international companies to new and growing enterprises, covering the education, agriculture, food and beverage, tourism, entertainment, and banking sectors.
As a communications strategist as well as a hands-on implementer, Ann has excellent networking, relationship building and influencing skills across all levels of decision makers in diverse stakeholders groups. She is politically savvy with solid experience in giving advice at board and chief executive level.
Ann's experience working with Chinese and New Zealand businesses has provided her with a good grounding in managing different cultures, working within political boundaries, providing solutions that are innovative and fit for purpose and learning to build diverse networks.
Ann graduated from the University of Auckland with a Master’s degree of Film, TV and Media Studies. She is a member of Public Relations Institute of New Zealand and a former co-chairperson of New Zealand and China Business Council.

Mark is a respected communications strategist with more than 30 years’ experience. He provides strategic advice on stakeholder, media, community and government relations and engagement to chief executives and senior managers in both the public and private sectors, and works with clients based throughout New Zealand and Asia. He is the founder of Hot Metal Communications, our sister company.
Mark has worked as a journalist on leading newspapers in New Zealand, England and Hong Kong, and has worked in senior communications roles in Hong Kong and New Zealand. He advises clients on all strategic and media-related issues, including government and community relations, social media, media training and crisis management.
Mark has rich experience in working with businesses looking to expand their reach and effectiveness between New Zealand and the Greater China region, including Chinese companies investing in New Zealand. He is the president of the Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association and a member of the New Zealand China Trade Association.

Over the past four decades Chris has built successful careers in graphic design, book publishing, marketing and IT in New Zealand, Australia, United States, UK, Singapore and Dubai, and has provided marketing support to many of New Zealand’s largest companies.
Since 2000 Chris’ company Ground Zero, our strategic business partner, has provided strategic planning, training and business support services to companies and government agencies in New Zealand and overseas, including North Asian market entry and investment. As General Manager with Wellington’s regional economic development agency and Economic Development Manager with Porirua City, Chris has worked with local businesses and organisations to create wealth and jobs in the Wellington region.
Chris is currently Trustee of Porirua City Community IT Education Trust (aka Porirua E-learning Trust) and President of the NZ China Cross-border Electronic Commerce Foundation.

Leontien graduated from Northeastern University in the United States with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Finance.

Fanbin is an experienced e-commerce specialist with a solid understanding of digital marketing and sales in China. Fanbin is an Alibaba certified e-commerce marketer. He assists brands in expanding their online customer base and increasing their online sales. Over the last six years, Fanbin has gained the trust of many well-known brands as a successful e-commerce brand building partner.
He is also a visiting lecturer, providing e-commerce related training to preeminent universities in China. Fanbin is currently leading a team of local brand experts and e-commerce operators in Dalian where TEEYA’s China base is located.

Rex is an online interactive design expert, implementing the latest technology online to deliver effective branding and marketing solutions.
Rex was a senior editor in the post-production team for the Beijing Travel Channel of China Television Media Ltd, where he supervised the delivery of broadcasting and programming. He graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in computer application technology (graphics and animation).
